I discovered USA Working Equitation (USAWE) at the end of 2023 and was asked to join and serve as a member on the Marketing Committee in 2024. USAWE is a group of horse enthusiasts (both English & Western) who enjoy the sport of working equitation and are proponents of spreading the sport far and wide across the U.S. A major goal of USAWE was to become an affiliate member of the World Association for Working Equitation (WAWE) so that its members & athletes could compete internationally, so bringing awareness and building the foundation for an official, unified U.S. chapter of the sport of working equitation across the U.S. was paramount to that goal. The Marketing Committee was tasked with creating momentum for the sport through visual communication, member outreach, advertising, and strengthening recognition of the USAWE brand. As a volunteer and supporter of the sport, I was excited to be part of this grassroots effort to promote the amazing sport of working equitation, and build a nationally recognized brand.
Logo Update
When the USAWE Logo was sanctioned as a registered trademark, it was time to update the logo from having the “TM” to the “®” symbol. I was tasked with updating all versions of the USAWE logo to reflect the new trademark.
