A Totally Rad Purim Carnival

For the annual Ohef Sholom Temple Youth (OSTY) Purim Carnival fundraiser, the theme was that of the 80s and being “totally rad.” The main theme of 2020’s Purim was based on the rock band Queen, and thus the carnival adopted it’s own 80s identity for this year’s publicity. The imagery I used for this event was based on the everyone’s favorite 80s puzzle, the Rubik’s cube, along with the boombox playing a cassette tape. I felt the colors needed to be “electric,” fun, bright, to encompass the energy of the 80s.
