The Shockoe Tomato Festival celebrates its “roots” from the famed regional Hanover tomato. With its distinctive, flavorful taste, a Hanover tomato is one of a kind. I wanted to present the tomato internationally, providing an educational and interactive way to look at the tomato by highlighting the word “tomato” in different languages, yet come together to celebrate the beloved Hanover tomato as our favorite, fun fruit, however you say it.
