This image was a restoration of a friend’s picture from when he was a child. The tear through the center of the image destroyed the continuity of the Eiffel Tower structure, as well as the subject’s face. I completely “removed” the tear, basically having to “rebuild” the Eiffel Tower in the sections the tear crossed, as well as reconstructing the subject’s face. It is very painstaking, detailed work, but the finished image is worth it, and not only is the image restored, but so is the memory.
